Wind farms with a total capacity of 50 MW located in Jędrzychowice and Zgorzelec have officially become part of Respect Energy portfolio.
This is another very important stage in the process of expanding the company generation resources, which the company has completed in recent months – emphasised Sebastian Jabłoński, president of Respect Energy.
The wind farms in Jędrzychowice and Zgorzelec (Lower Silesia voivodship) will ensure annual energy production of 100 GWh.
The acquisition of the wind farms in south-western Poland, is another of the significant investment made by Respect Energy in 2022.
Following the acquisition of the Wicko wind farm (10MW) and the recent inauguration of the first phase of Poland largest photovoltaic farm, Zwartowo (204MW), the Jędrzychowice and Zgorzelec farms will provide another source of renewable energy generation from which our customers will be able to benefit. The investments in generation assets made in 2022 have expanded Respect Energy portfolio with wind and photovoltaic power plants with a total capacity of 264MW – emphasises Sebastian Jabłoński.
The 26MW wind farm in Jędrzychowice is equipped with 13 Vestas turbines, while the 24MW farm in Zgorzelec is powered by 12 Gamesa turbines.
