Energy 2023/Energetika 2023 – one of the leading regional events of the energy industry – was held in Zlatibor (Serbia) on 12-15 September. Respect Energy took an active part in the conference as a platinum sponsor.
This year’s event, held under the theme ‘Energy Independence in the Region in the light of global disturbances – a new reality’, brought together representatives of leading institutions and companies from the Balkan region.
Participation in this year’s Energy 2023 is directly linked to Respect Energy’s ambitious plans in the Balkans. The advanced stage of preparation of future projects concerns areas such as hydrogen and ammonia production from renewable energy sources, investments in energy storage as well as photovoltaic farms, onshore and offshore wind farms, pumped storage power plants, among others. The planned activities will involve countries such as Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Albania. Respect Energy will commence active trading and cross-border supply of electricity trading in the indicated area – points out Tomasz Zadroga, member of the Board of Respect Energy Holding S.A.
The Energy 2023/Energetika 2023 conference is organised by the Association of Energy Specialists. The event is supported by the Serbian Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation and leading energy companies – EPS, ERS, EPCG, ESM.
